Nathaniel “Nate” Hanet was born in Summit, New Jersey to a mother from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and a father from Ghent. Belgium. Nate received his bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University in 2015 and his Juris Doctorate/Doctorate in Comparative Law in 2018 from Louisiana State University. Nate spent the majority of his career as a felony assistant public defender and then as a felony assistant district attorney with the 15th Judicial District of Louisiana – Lafayette Division.
Nate has a passion for helping people, and making sure they get the best representation possible. Nate prides himself on his ability to advocate vigorously for his clients and has done successfully done so from the pre-litigation process up to all the way through trial.
In his spare time, Nate enjoys spending time with his family, his dogs, and practicing Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. He is also a dual citizen of Belgium and is fluent in French with conversational skills in Flemish (Dutch).
