Leah Rhodes was born in Poughkeepsie, New York and lived there until she moved with her family to Seoul, South Korea. After graduating high school with an International Baccalaureate degree, she moved from South Korea to Baton Rouge Louisiana where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Louisiana State University with a major in music and a minor in Spanish. She taught high school Spanish in False River and Covington Louisiana for two years.
She received her Juris Doctorate from Tulane Law School where she sat as an administrative justice on the Moot Court board. Prior to joining Morris Bart, LLC, Ms. Rhodes practiced insurance defense law with extensive experience in coverage issues, Louisiana workers’ compensation law, Jones Act, LHWCA and general maritime law as well as personal injury law. She is an experienced mediator.
Ms. Rhodes is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and is licensed to practice in all Louisiana state and Federal courts.
