Sometimes a driver will pay the ultimate price for their mistakes but also end up hurting others in the process. We have an example. A driver has died in a crash in St. Charles Parish near Killona. Fox 8 reported on the incident.
A three-vehicle crash happened on LA 3127 south of LA 640. Six people were injured in the crash. Rodolfo Trevino of Kenner was driving south on LA 3127 in an SUV. For reasons that are unclear, Trevino crossed into the other lane and struck another SUV head-on.
He continued driving south and hit a third vehicle. Despite wearing his seatbelt, the two head-on collisions killed him.
All the people in the third vehicle had moderate to serious injuries after the crash. The second vehicle driver had minor injuries.
It is unknown if Trevino was intoxicated at the time of the crash, but speed is considered a factor.
