The Daily Leader, a newspaper in Brookhaven, MS, reports on Mississippi traffic accidents the weekend before last.
Troop M of the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a single-vehicle accident that didn’t result in injuries on Saturday the 12th around 4:00 p.m. on Interstate 55 at exit 38. They also reported a two-vehicle accident without injuries one on Highway 51 North at Newman Trail at around 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, and a Monday morning single-vehicle accident around 7:20 a.m. on Highway 84 East near Pen Oak Lane, also with no injuries.
Also in Northern Mississippi, the King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 40 calls over the weekend from Friday through Monday. This included 36 emergency calls, 28 of which were medical with four trauma calls, with 17 within the Brookhaven city limits, and 11 in the surrounding county, plus 15 transfers, including five to Jackson, one to Hattiesburg, one to Copiah County, and two to McComb.

The News-Courier also reported on a wreck last Tuesday in which a Huntsville, AL man was killed on Interstate 65 in Limestone County. The Limestone County Courier confirmed that a 42-year-old Huntsville man died in the two-vehcle accident that occurred around 7:00 a.m. near the Alabama Highway 20 exit of I-65. Two others were hospitalized with injuries.
