KATV Channel 7 ABC News reported recently on a car wreck Sunday afternoon in Little Rock, Arkansas, that also mysteriously involved the shooting of a man of 25 years of age.
The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday in Little Rock, when officers of the Little Rock Police Department were called to an accident scene at 1405 South Harrison Street, according to initial reports from the Little Rock Police. While en route, they were advised of a possible shooting. They found a 25-year-old man in a heavily damaged 2016 Jeep Renegade sport utility vehicle that had been in a car wreck. He had been shot in the chest with a firearm, but was still alert when police responded. He was transported to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Medical Center for treatment.

Police investigators are still unsure whether the shooting or the car wreck occurred first. A crime scene has been established at 2303 South Tyler Street, which is believed to be where the original crime was committed, and the Jeep Renegade was taken for evidence. As of Monday morning, no suspects have yet been arrested in connection with this incident, and the investigation continues to proceed.
Police have not yet listed any suspects in the shooting.
