When you’re in a car accident and the at-fault driver dies, you might believe that you have no chance at compensation. This is incorrect. Your insurance may have special coverage for this situation, and it is possible that you can sue the estate of the at-fault driver for compensation. However, you will need a lawyer on your side with both personal injury law and probate law to fight for your rights.
If you have been injured in an accident and the other driver has died, speak with a personal injury attorney as soon as possible after your accident.
