A woman has died after falling off of I-10 and crashing into the Superdome parking lot in New Orleans. WDSU reported on the accident.
Police say that the driver was going east on Pontchartrain Expressway and lost control of her car. It struck the right guardrail, left the roadway, and landed in the parking lot. She was killed at the scene.
Police are unsure why the car lost control and left the roadway. The accident is under investigation.
