The Trussville Tribune reported on a car accident that occurred Sunday in Birmingham and led to two fatalities.
A Toyota Tacoma pickup truck to flip was eastbound on Third Avenue West Sunday evening, according to the Birmingham Police Department, when it rear-ended a Cadillac sedan. This caused the pickup to flip several times before landing to the side of the roadway.
The driver was transported to a local hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries. His two passengers, both men, one eighteen and one twenty-year-old, were ejected from the vehicle and were pronounced dead at the scene. The accident is being investigated by the Birmingham Police Department.
Also, KTLO 97.9 FM reported on a severe car accident in Arkansas that led to the death of a woman from Little Rock, as well as four people injured, on Monday evening near the state line in Ozark County.

The incident occurred a little after 5:00 p.m., just north of the state line on Highway 5, when a vehicle with three occupants crossed the centerline of the roadway and had a head-on collision with another vehicle carrying two people. Three of the passengers were taken to Baxter Regional Medical Center, where one, a Little Rock woman, passed away from the injuries she sustained in the accident. The other two were taken to Cox Medical Center South.
