Perry is originally from Gadsden, Alabama. He received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Alabama. He later attended law school at the University of Alabama School of Law. While in law school he was awarded the Dean Thomas W. Christopher Award, the Dean Nathaniel Hansford Service & Leadership Award and the Dean’s Award. He was also active in the Student Bar Association serving as Senator and Vice-President and was President of the Bench and Bar Legal Honor Society.
Following law school, he clerked for the Alabama Court of Civil Appeals. He then went on to work in the insurance defense field defending insurance companies and their insureds now helps those who have been injured by the negligence of others. In addition, he has gained experience in the fields of personal injury, criminal defense and probate matters. Perry has remained active with the University of Alabama School of Law where he is currently serving on the Board of Trustees for the Farrah Law Society.
Perry is licensed to practice in Alabama state and federal courts.
He is married to the former Terre Su Little of Auburn, Alabama. They have two sets of twins and are actively involved in the Mountain Brook Community.
