Ms. Goldman is a native of Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She graduated from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee and earned her law degree from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, DC.
She has spent her professional career in Birmingham, Alabama, where she worked as both a plaintiff’s lawyer and a defense lawyer. She spent 18 years as in-house counsel for Alabama Gas Corporation where she focused on litigation management and employment law. Ms. Goldman has spent time serving her community through Big Brothers and Big Sisters, One Roof, and Birmingham Urban League. She was also honored to be chosen as one of Birmingham’s Top 40 Under 40 in 2006 and selected for the 2007 class of the Alabama State Bar Leadership Forum.
Ms. Goldman has two daughters; one is in eighth grade and the other is a freshman in college. She enjoys attending her church, taking long walks, and playing tennis.
