Lowell Moore, a native of Tuskegee, Alabama, graduated Cum Laude from Troy University in 2013 with a degree in Criminal Justice. Mr. Moore then went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in May 2017. While attending law school, Mr. Moore clerked for the Honorable Judge J.R. Gaines in the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit. In addition, Mr. Moore is a member of the Alabama Lawyers Association. Through his membership, Mr. Moore was the recipient of the 2015 and 2016 ALA clerkships where he clerked with Beasley, Allen, Crow, Methvin, Portis & Miles, P.C. and the Federal Defender’s Office of the Middle District of Alabama. Mr. Moore served a member of the Faulkner Law Board of Advocacy Program where he participated in the Frederick Douglass Moot Court Competition. He also served as a Faulkner Law Dean Fellow where he provided workshops to first-year law students for general study skills, time management, and exam preparation.
While in law school, Mr. Moore pursued his martial art endeavors in Taekwondo with Tiger Rock Martial Arts. Mr. Moore has been practicing Taekwondo for over two years, competing in district and national tournaments. Mr. Moore is a certified instructor in Tiger Rock Martial Arts and believes his discipline will be his greatest asset to his practice of law. Mr. Moore will receive his first black belt in December of 2017.
