Ms. Lindsey Topp joined Morris Bart as a staff attorney in July 2014. Ms. Topp is a native of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and completed her undergraduate work at Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Religious Studies with a minor in Classical Studies. She received her Juris Doctor in 2011 from Tulane University Law School, where she graduated magna cum laude and received a Certificate in Environmental Law. Also in 2011, she received a Master of Business Administration degree from the Freeman School of Business at Tulane University with a concentration in finance.
While in law school, Ms. Topp served on the board of directors of the Student Hurricane Network, helping to organize law student volunteer trips to New Orleans and the Gulf Coast in the wake of hurricanes Katrina and Rita. During law school, Ms. Topp also served as Business Editor of the Tulane Journal of Law and Sexuality, worked as a student attorney at the Tulane Environmental Law Clinic, held the position of President of both the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund and the Lambda Law Foundation, and was active in the Environmental Law Foundation.
In 2008, she served as an intern for Magistrate Robert H. Walker of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi in Gulfport.
Prior to joining Morris Bart, LLC, Ms. Topp clerked for two years for Mississippi Supreme Court Presiding Justice Michael K. Randolph. She is licensed to practice law in the states of California, Louisiana, and Mississippi. Ms. Topp’s practice is based in Morris Bart, LTD’s Gulfport, Mississippi office.
