Mr. Morgan has been a practicing attorney since 1987 and is licensed in Louisiana. A native of Lafayette, Louisiana, Duke received his undergraduate degree from LSU Baton Rouge and then graduated Law Review from Mississippi College School of Law in Jackson, Mississippi.
After spending a summer abroad participating in the LSU Law School sponsored program at the University of Aix-en-Provence in 1986, Duke practiced for a short time in New Orleans. He moved to New York City, in 1989, and started a career with West Publishing/Westlaw. In 1994, he opened West’s first foreign office in London, England, representing Westlaw in every account outside of the United States.
In 2000, Duke opened Thomson West Hong Kong office and was instrumental in getting the Hong Kong Law Reports on Westlaw. As such, his market now focused mainly on the Asia Pacific rim. In 2003, Duke opened the Thomson West Kuala Lumpur office in Malaysia. Additionally, Duke had short stints representing Westlaw living in Paris, France, Milan, Italy and Bangkok, Thailand.
Duke began working Of Counsel at Morris Bart in 2011.
