We are looking for a Content Writer & Editor to research, write, proofread, and re-work online content. Content Writer & Editor’s responsibilities include re-working and optimizing original blogs to increase user engagement. If you have excellent writing and editing skills in English and have experience editing online content, we’d like to meet you! Please share samples of your work by including either a portfolio or links to your published articles along with your application. Ultimately, you will produce engaging quality content that speaks to our audience and boosts engagement with our website and brand.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Proofread, re-structure and improve articles pre-written by legal professionals
  • Optimize published pieces using SEO guidelines
  • Generate new ideas around industry-related topics
  • Edit content for proper grammar and punctuation
  • Edit content for clarity and readability
  • Keep content consistent and engaging

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor in Marketing, Journalism, Communications or related field
  • Proven work experience as a Content Writer & Editor or similar role
  • Portfolio of published works Excellent writing and editing skills in English
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize Attention to detail Self-starting and independent

Supplementary skills: Some experience with SEO, CMS (WordPress), and some knowledge of legal marketing
