Ms. Alexis Jani earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2006 from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore where she majored in Political Science. At Johns Hopkins University, she was a member and group leader of the Alpha Phi Omega service fraternity. Prior to attending law school she taught kindergarten in the Baltimore Public School system.
Ms. Jani obtained her Juris Doctorate from Tulane Law School in 2009 where she sat on the Moot Court Board. She studied and became certified in Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution in Berlin. While in law school, Ms. Jani worked with juveniles in the criminal justice system with Tulane Law School’s Juvenile Litigation Clinic.
Prior to joining Morris Bart, LLC, Ms. Jani practiced in the areas of asbestos litigation and personal injury. Ms. Jani is a member of the American Bar Association and the Louisiana State Bar Association. She is licensed to practice law in Louisiana State courts.
